The NBW business ecosystem supports women of colour entrepreneneurs by making it easy for them to find other similar and like minded entrepreneurs to collaborate with and also makes it easy for customers to find their businesses.
Facilitating collaboration
Building a network of people who you want to work with and can work with is not an easy task, this platform makes it easy for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs to find businesses owned by women of colour entrepreneurs and also makes it possible to find out a little bit more about the entrepreneur, so that you can connect to the person behind the business.
Creating visibility for the entrepreneurs
The platform makes it easy for consumers to find businesses owned by women of color, because this is where you find them. The grouping by industry makes it possible and easy for customers and potential collaborators to find the business. It makes it easy for us to support each other.
Promoting events hosted by the community and hosting community events
Instead of members of the community having to individually promote their events, the platform allows for members of the NBW community to post their events on the platform. Making it easy for the community to support each others events and also making it easy for people who are looking to support the woman of color community to find and attend the events.
